Lunch at Ka`elepulu

Aloha mai e Ka`elepulu Ohana,

Bringing a home lunch is great and we would like you to remember a few things:

  1.    All foods should be in paper, plastic, or metal containers—glass can be dangerous when dropped on our cement floors.
  2.    Please be sure that all menu items are pre-cooked or take only 1-2 minutes in the microwave. It is best if your student’s lunch is truly ‘ready to eat’.
  3.    Math problem: if 3 students each from 4 classes need to heat up their cup-of-noodles, and each cup takes 3 minutes to heat, how many minutes are needed to prepare their lunch? How many will have time to actually eat?

Mahalo for your reflection and attention to these challenges.
